We are delighted to announce that building contractor Sewell’s have started on site this week and are already making progress with the extensive refurbishment works.
Mark Dodgson, Project Manager at Sewell’s said; “We’re thrilled to be involved with the University for the first time and on such a prestigious project as the new Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies Building. We have started on site this week and will be here for approximately ten months. The first few week’s activities will be setting up the site establishment and a soft strip of the internal building in ready for the next stage of work to commence.”
We are going to document the progress of the work in a photo diary of each week’s progress. These first images show walls being marked up for demolition and the main hall area being stripped out ready for remodeling.
