Now in its sixth year, the FUAM Graduate Art Prize, supported by the Friends of University Art and Music (FUAM), rewards the artistic excellence of students completing studies in Fine Art and Design at the University of Leeds in 2018. The Stanley & Audrey Burton Gallery will host an exhibition showcasing the work of this year’s four finalists, which will open with an evening reception on Tuesday 8 August at 6pm.

A panel of expert judges has selected four finalists for the prize from the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies and the School of Design degree shows, which took place around campus in June.

The finalists include Hannah Marsh and Katie Clark, recent BA Fine Art graduates from the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies.

Join us in raising a glass to celebrate the work of all four artists, and vote for your favourite in our People’s Choice Award!

Book your place here.

In September, the judges will return to select the overall winner of the FUAM Graduate Art Prize. The ‘Best in Show’ graduating student artist of the year will receive £250. Each of the runners-up will receive £100 to aid them in their developing career as artists. The prizes will be awarded by FUAM in an awards ceremony on 26 September 2018.
