You are invited to join us for this workshop and performance at The Hepworth Wakefield.
PAPER is an exploration of the sculptural and sonic possibilities of one of the most commonplace materials. The seemingly mundane, everyday material that literally supports and enables creativity and its documentation.
The performance will include pieces by John Cage, Ben Patterson, James Saunders and participatory workshops for people of all ages and abilities.
This event is organised by the Centre for Audio Visual Experimentation (CAVE) at the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies in partnership with the School of Music. It is free to attend and all are welcome.
For more information, email Sam Belinfante in the School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies.
If you are a student from the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures and wish to take part in this performance, a rehearsal will take place from 4pm. If you are interested, email Sam Belinfante to book a place. No musical training required, just a desire to get involved.
