Emma Talbot is an artist based in London. Her work explores personal experience and internal narratives via a range of media, incorporating painting on silk, drawing and installation.
Recent one-person exhibitions include ‘Stained With Marks of Love’ at Arcadia Missa (New York), ‘The World Blown Apart’ at Galerie Onrust (Amsterdam), ‘Time After Time’ at Petra Rinck Galerie (Düsseldorf) and ‘Unravel These Knots’ at the Freud Museum (London).
In 2016 she was shortlisted for the MAC International Ulster Bank Prize and the John Moores Painting Prize. Her work is featured in Thames & Hudson books 100 Painters of Tomorrow by K. Beers and Drawing People by R. Malbert (both 2015). She has a current one-person exhibition, ‘Open Thoughts’, at Neuer Kunstverein Aachen, and will be in group exhibitions at Tate St Ives and Turner Contemporary in 2018.
