The BA programmes offered by the School combine a modern modular structure with the more traditional undergraduate degree. The School has a strong interdisciplinary ethos and encourages students in all programmes to work together in the study of visual, material and media culture through practice, historical research, theoretical and critical analysis. A strong focus on the fundamentals of each discipline provides the basis for a wide range of specialist and interdisciplinary options.
Within the School, one of the largest and most vigorous in the United Kingdom, you will be part of a friendly and energetic student and staff community. The majority of our undergraduates come to us directly from A Level, but we also accept a wide range of equivalent qualifications. An alternative entry route is offered through the Access to Leeds scheme. We also have a growing number of mature and international students.
