- Can you imagine being the only woman or man on your university course? A new temporary exhibition exploring the life and work of Mary Barker, the first woman to be accepted onto the textile industries course at the University of Leeds, is currently on show at ULITA – an Archive of International Textiles.
Applications for the White Rose College of the Arts & Humanities PhD Scholarships are now open for 2018The School of Fine Art, History of Art and Cultural Studies is pleased to invite applications for up to eight White Rose College of the Arts & Humanities (WRoCAH) AHRC Studentships for PhD study beginning in the academic year 2018/19.
- Students from the MA Art Gallery and Museum Studies course at the University of Leeds have worked with Leeds University Union and the Chilean community in Yorkshire to curate an exhibition on a mural which has recently been uncovered in the Leeds University Union foyer.
- From the origins of characteristic Yorkshire creamware to the legacy of Yorkshire pottery today, immerse yourself in ceramic design. The story is told through a selection of Yorkshire Ceramics from the University of Leeds Art Collection, curated by MA Art Gallery and Museum Studies students.
